JAKARTA – Jajaran Polres Metro Jakarta Barat mengerahkan ratusan personil untuk menjaga 27 wihara yang saat ini menggelar ibadah dalam rangka hari raya Waisak, Senin.
“Kita kerahkan 415 personil gabungan dengan TNI dan Satpol PP untuk menjaga 27 wihara yang melaksanakan ibadah,” kata Kapolres Metro Jakarta Barat, Kombes Pol Pasma Royce saat ditemui ketika memantau ibadah di Pusdiklat Buddhis Maitreyawira, Jelambar, Jakarta Barat, Senin, 16/5/2022.

Selain itu, mereka juga ditugaskan untuk memastikan protokol kesehatan (prokes) diterapkan saat ibadah berlangsung seperti mewajibkan jemaat memakai masker, berjaga jarak dan membatasi kapasitas pengunjung.
Setiap wihara juga diharuskan menyediakan fasilitas kesehatan seperti tempat cuci tangan dan hand sanitizer untuk para jemaat
Hal tersebut dilakukan agar tidak tercipta klaster COVID-19 di lingkungan wihara. Lebih lanjut, Pasma Royce memastikan petugasnya akan melakukan penjagaan di setiap wihara hingga sore hari.
“Kita tetap memastikan semua ini bisa terlaksana sampai selesai tanpa ada kendala sehingga rasa aman nyaman damai buat umat budha yang melaksanakan hari suci waisak pada hari ini bisa secara nyaman,” jelas dia.
