DEMAK – Dalam pelaksanaan TMMD Reguler Ke 114 Kodim 0716/Demak tahun 2022 di Desa Kebonagung, Kecamatan Kebonagung, tidak hanya menyasar sasaran fisik saja. Melainkan ada juga beberapa sasaran non fisik yang dilaksanakan, seperti pemyuluhan-penyuluhan.
Salah satu kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan yaitu penyuluhan tentang Keluarga Berencana Kesehatan (KB-Kes) yang digelar di Balai Desa Kebonagung, Selasa (09/08/2022).
Penyuluhan tentang kesehatan ini diselenggarakan Kodim 0716/Demak di lokasi TMMD dengan menggandeng Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa, dan Keluarga Berencana Kabupaten Demak.
Acara dibuka oleh Bati Bhakti TNI Staf Ter Kodim 0716/Demak Serma Budi Haryono, dengan dihadiri petugas Dinpermades P2KB, Ketua PKK Desa Kebonagung Ny. Tulkah Makmun, dan ibu-ibu perwakilan dari tiap RT di Desa Kebonagung.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Bati Bhakti TNI menyampaikan bahwa penyuluhan kesehatan kali ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya program KB. Dimana KB sendiri merupakan program atau gerakan untuk membentuk keluarga yang sehat dan sejahtera dengan membatasi angka kelahiran. Oleh karena itu, untuk dapat mencapai hal tersebut, maka dibuatlah beberapa cara atau alternatif untuk mencegah ataupun menunda kehamilan.
“Untuk lebih jelasnya nanti akan disampaikan oleh penyuluh dari Dinpermades P2KB,” tutup Bati Bhakti TNI Serma Budi Haryono.
Sementara itu dalam penyuluhannya, Sub Koordinator Jaminan Pelayanan KB Dinpermades P2KB Kabupaten Demak, Siti Fadhilah menyampaikan tentang pentingnya ikut program KB, guna menekan angka kelahiran di wilayah Kabupaten Demak.
Dijelaskannya, dalam mencegah kehamilan, dapat dilakukan dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP) dan non Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (non MKJP).
“MKJP merupakan metode kontrasepsi yang harus digalakkan, karena efektifitasnya relatif lama antara tiga tahun sampai seusia hidup yang terdiri dari implan, IUD, MOW, dan MOP. Dan kebanyakan masyarakat kita, masih menggunakan alat kontrasepsi jangka pendek, padahal alat KB jangka pendek risiko kegagalannya cukup tinggi. Oleh karena itu, kami hadir disini untuk memberikan edukasi dan pemahaman kepada seluruh warga, bahwa program KB 2 anak itu lebih baik,” jelas Siti Fadhilah.
Dirinya berharap, dengan penyuluhan ini, warga masyarakat Desa Kebonagung dapat mengikuti program KB, agar lebih sehat dan produktif dalam menjalani aktivitas sehari-hari dalam meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
“Semoga dengan penyuluhan ini, ibu-ibu yang ada dihadapan saya memahami arti pentingnya program KB, khususnya MKJP. Sehingga secara umun dapat lebih sehat dan produktif,” pungkasnya. (Pendim0716).
