JEMBER – Unit Reserse Kriminal (Reskrim) Polres Jember berhasil mengamankan komplotan pelaku pencurian hewan/sapi dengan inisial AY, 38th laki laki warga warga Dusun Sasi Sumberlotoh Kel.Sukosari Kec. Sukowono Kabupaten Jember dan M, 51th warga Dusun Lengkong Kec. Sukowono Kabupaten Jember.
Penangkapan dan pengungkapan pelaku pencurian sapi itu, bermula saat melakukan patroli di malam hari dan petugas mencurigai adanya sapi yang diangkut dengan mobil minibus jenis Daihatsu Espass warna hijau di sekitaran wilayah Kabupaten Jember pada hari Kamis dinihari tanggal 27/01/2022.
Saat dilakukan penyelidikan ternyata sapi tersebut dibawa dan diturunkan masuk ke kandang sapi milik terduga B yang merupakan penampungan sindikat pencurian sapi di daerah Mumbulsari, di kandang tersebut ternyata sudah ada 6 ekor sapi yang diduga merupakan hasil curian.
Ternyata sapi yang diangkut dengan minibus tersebut merupakan hasil curian di daerah Sukowono.
Kasat Reskrim Polres Jember AKP Komang Yogi Aryawiguna saat Pressconfrens tadi siang,”untuk korbannya ada beberapa TKP diantaranya sukowono,Kalisat dan di Situbondo.
Dari hasil pengembangan ternyata mereka diduga berkomplot,pelaku AY dan M ini adalah orang sukowono di mana memang para pelaku ini indikasinya sindikat, kita masih mengejar dua DPO pelaku lainya” Ujarnya.
Dan yang menarik dari kasus ini adalah tersangka AY sempat viral di video yang beredar beberapa minggu yang lalu dimana ada seorang laki-laki dan seorang perempuan bersitegang di salah satu warung makan di Jember dan tersangka AY berada di dalam video tersebut,pungkasnya.

Cara yang dilakukan kompolotan tersebut yaitu dengan merusak pagar kayu kandang sapi dan dituntun mengarahkan ke tempat sarananya pelaku yaitu kendaraan roda empat. Dan terhadap para tersangka tersebut polisi menjerat dengan pasal 363 ayat 1 KUHP pencurian dengan pemberatan dengan ancaman 7 tahun penjara dan barang bukti yang diamankan 7 (Tujuh) ekor sapi dan satu unit Minibus.
