Jember – Hari ini, Selasa tanggal17 Oktober 2023 bertempat di Aula Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Jember, Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Jember menggelar rapat koordinasi persiapan awal Lomba Gerak Jalan Tanggul-Jember Tradisional (Tajemtra) 2023. Rapat yng dimulai pada pukul 11.00 ini dipimpin secara langsung oleh Kepala Bidang Pembudayaan Olahraga Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Jember, M. Rizal Mahmud, SE dan dihadiri antara lain oleh Ketua Dewan Juri Bapak Kartono, perwakilan KORMI (Komite Olahrag Rekreasi Masyarakat) Kabupaten Jember, serta seluruh staf dan pejabat fungsional di Bidang Pembudayaan Olahraga Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Jember.
Dalam rapat ini dibahas hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan persiapan awal Lomba Gerak Jalan Tanggul-Jember Tradisional (Tajemtra) antara lain kepastian tanggal pelaksanaan kegiatan, perizinan, publikasi dan pendaftaran peserta, jumlah personil yang dilibatkan, baik dari unsur keamanan, kesehatan, penilaian maupun pendukung lainnya, serta rencana Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) di lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember yang akan dilibatkan. Termasuk dibahas juga antisipasi mengenai kemungkinan hujan mengingat rencana kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 Desember 2023 sudah memasuki musim penghujan.
Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga Kabupaten Jember sendiri menargetkan jumlah peserta Lomba Gerak Jalan Tanggul-Jember Tradisional (Tajemtra) tahun 2023 ini sebanyak 10.000 orang.(Redaksiswanara)
