Jakarta.- Kementerian Kesehatan bakal melacak kasus aktif tuberkulosis (TBC) dengan datang langsung ke rumah warga. Tujuannya, mencari orang yang bergejala untuk memutus rantai penularan sejak dini.
Kemenkes pun telah mengerahkan kader hingga petugas kesehatan di tingkat puskesmas untuk menjangkau pasien TBC, hingga ke rumah-rumah.
“Kalau kami bisa temukan TBC lebih dini, minimal 90-95 persennya kami harap penularan bisa diputus,” ujar Kepala Biro Komunikasi dan Pelayanan Publik Kemenkes Siti Nadia Tarmizi, Selasa (21/3/2023).
Saat ini, kasus TBC di Indonesia masih tergolong tinggi. Laju temuan kasus rata-rata berkisar 443.235 pada 2021, dan meningkat menjadi 717.941 di 2022. Data sementara 2023 berada di angka 118.438 kasus.
Jumlah tersebut menempatkan Indonesia berada pada posisi kedua kasus TBC terbanyak di dunia, berdasarkan data Global TB Report 2022.
Tak hanya pada dewasa, TBC pada anak juga meningkat dari 42.187 kasus pada 2021, menjadi 100.726 pada 2022.
“Upaya kami juga melakukan pemberian pengobatan TBC untuk anak yang mengalami kontak dengan pasien. Kalau dilihat sekarang, kami juga melakukan skrining aktif di rumah untuk mencari orang dengan gejala batuk, lalu dilakukan pemeriksaan. Jadi tidak menunggu lagi orang datang ke puskesmas,” katanya.
