Sumbar- Polsek Barangin Polres Sawahlunto, tadi siang mengamankan seorang pria karena diduga tengah bermain judi online jenis togel (toto gelap), Selasa (23/8).
Pria dengan inisial ND (34), warga Lubang Tembok Kelurahan Saringan Kecamatan Barangin Kota Sawahlunto, ditangkap di sebuah warung yang tidak jauh dari rumahnya.
Kapolres Sawahlunto AKBP Purwanto Hari Subekti, S.Sos melalui Kapolsek Barangin Ipda Joni Indra, SH membenarkan penangkapan terhadap pelaku judi tersebut.
Saat penyelidikan, Ipda Joni Indra saat itu tengah menyamar sebagai seorang petugas KUA yang mendatangi warung tempat ND bermain judi online.
“Iya benar, pelaku ditangkap pada saat personil Polsek Barangin melaksanakan patroli diseputaran wilkum Polsek Barangin. Didapati informasi dari masyarakat bahwasanya ada warga yang sedang duduk-duduk di warung di Lubang Tembok Kel. Saringan Kec. Barangin sedang melakukan kegiatan judi online,” sebutnya.
Mendapati informasi tersebut, Kapolsek Barangin Ipda Joni Indra langsung memimpin personil Tim KKL Hunter Polsek Barangin untuk melakukan pengecekan ke TKP yang di backup unit Opsnal Satreskrim Polres Sawahlunto
Saat tiba dilokasi sekira pukul 11.45 WIB, didapati ada masyarakat sedang melakukan aktivitas judi berupa permainan togel online dengan menggunakan media handphone.
Selanjutnya, petugas langsung mengamankan diduga pelaku berikut handphone yang tengah digunakannya. “Pada saat handphone terduga pelaku diamankan dan setelah dilakukan pengecekan histori pencarian di handphone pelaku didapati jejak akses permainan judi togel online,” terang Ipda Joni.
Saat dilakukan penggeledahan, ditemukan saldo togel online berjumlah Rp. 271.486,-, kemudian histori pemasangan nomor togel online terakhir pada hari Selasa tanggal 23 Agustus 2022 pukul 11.08 WIB.
Dalam penangkapan tersebut, polisi juga menyita satu unit handphone merk Oppo, buku rekening BRI Simpedes an. ND dan uang tunai Rp. 200.000,- yang merupakan withdraw dari akun togel miliknya.
