SLEMAN – Aksi kejahatan konvensional semakin meningkat trennya saat bulan Ramadhan. Peningkatan tindak kejahatan ini dikarenakan adanya beberapa masyarakat yang menghalalkan segala cara sehingga melakukan cara-cara kurang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka.
Menyikapi maraknya aksi kejahatan tersebut Polresta Sleman tak tinggal diam dengan memetakan kerawanan kriminal yang berpotensi terjadi selama bulan Ramadhan. Salah satunya dengan mengerahkan jajarannya terus melakukan patroli secara rutin dengan sasaran curat, curas, curanmor yang tujuannya untuk menjaga situasi keamanan masyarakat tetap kondusif. Pasalnya, tiga kejahatan konvensional itu diprediksi mengalami peningkatan selama bulan Ramadhan.
Kapolresta Sleman melalui Kasi Humas AKP Edy Widaryanta mengatakan, “Kapolresta Sleman sudah memerintahkan kepada seluruh anggota jajaran Polresta Sleman untuk meningkatkan patroli di tempat-tempat rawan terjadinya tindak kejahatan,” katanya
AKP Edy Widaryanta menegaskan jajarannya tidak segan untuk melakukan tindakan tegas kepada para pelaku kriminal yang meresahkan ataupun membahayakan masyarakat.
“Kami tidak segan-segan untuk memberikan tindakan tegas dan terukur terhadap pelaku-pelaku kejahatan tersebut,” tegasnya.
AKP Edy Widaryanta menambahkan, Polresta Sleman juga akan menjaga sentra-sentra pusat belanja dengan berpatroli di siang hari maupun malam hari dan akan bekerja sama dengan satuan pengamanan yang ada di pusat perbelanjaan.
“Tak hanya itu, kami akan terus mengantisipasi terjadinya penyakit di bulan Ramadhan seperti balap liar hingga menyulut petasan juga menjadi fokus perhatian Polresta Sleman selama bulan Ramadhan,” pungkasnya.(Redaksiswanara)
