Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya tengah melakukan penyelidikan terkait dengan dugaan kasus penipuan melalui aplikasi kencan yang membuat korbannya dikabarkan mengalami kerugian ratusan juta.
“Masih kita lakukan penyelidikan, di laporan itu ada dan saat ini kita lakukan serangkaian upaya penyelidikan oleh tim penyelidik Subdit Siber Polda Metro Jaya,” ungkapnya.
Kombes. Pol. Ade Safri Simanjuntak mengatakan pihaknya sudah menerima adanya dua laporan dari dua wanita yang diduga menjadi korban dugaan penipuan melalui aplikasi kencan (dating).
“Jadi pintu masuk itu adalah awalnya berangkat dari aplikasi dating. Kemudian berkenalan semakin dekat, kemudian melakukan komunikasi intensif melalui DM (dirent message/pesan langsung) seperti itu, kemudian terjalin hubungan yang efektif dekat antara korban dan tersangka,” jelasnya.
“Ini murni penipuan sebenarnya, sedangkan modus yang digunakan untuk masuk bisa bermacam hal ya, salah satunya tadi itu untuk mengenal korban lebih dalam, kemudian melakukan aksi rayu iming-iming dan sebagainya, kemudian barulah dilakukan aksi penipuan yang dimaksud,” katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
