Tangerang – Polisi berhasil mengungkap kasus penjualan sajam secara online. Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota, Kombes. Pol. Zain Dwi Nugroho, S.H., S.I.K., M.Si., mengungkapkan bahwa sajam tersebut diduga akan digunakan oleh para gangster untuk melakukan aksi tawuran. Dari pengungkapan kasus tersebut, tim Patroli Perintis Presisi (3P) menangkap dua remaja penjual sajam secara online.
“Kami amankan dua pelaku dengan barang bukti beberapa senjata tajam yang akan dijual,” jelasnya.
Pengungkapan kasus berawal dari adanya informasi terkait jual beli sajam secara online. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, polisi pun memantau akun media sosial para anggota gangster. Alhasil, kedua remaja dengan barang bukti sejumlah senjata tajam berhasil ditangkap polisi pada Rabu (3/5) pukul 05.00 WIB.
“Kami memonitor pergerakan dan memancing pelaku melalui jejaring media sosial dan berhasil mengamankan RA (18) dan KV (20),” jelasnya lebih lanjut.
Kapolres juga mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya mendapatkan informasi tersebut dari salah satu akun anggota gangster bernama Tangerang17stress.
Dari penangkapan tersebut, polisi mengamankan dua bilah celurit berukuran besar yang akan diperjualbelikan seharga Rp 550 ribu. Untuk penyelidikan lebih lanjut, saat ini polisi mengamankan para pelaku di Mapolres Metro Tangerang Kota.
“Atas perbuatannya kedua pelaku dijerat dengan undang-undang darurat No. 12 Tahun 1951 tentang Senjata Tajam, ancaman hukumannya maksimal 12 tahun penjara,” katanya.(Redaksi Swanara)
