Pelaku diamankan di sebuah warung di Pasar Baru Sianok, Jorong Pasar Baru, Nagari Sinuruik, Kecamatan Talamau, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, Selasa malam (09/08/2022) sekira pukul 22.00 WIB.
Kapolres Pasaman Barat AKBP M. Aries Purwanto, S.I.K., M.M melalui Kapolsek Talamau AKP Junaidi, S.H mengatakan, penangkapan terhadap tersangka WE dan 3 orang lainnya yang diduga melakukan tindak pidana perjudian jenis Ceki (koa) sesuai dengan Laporan Polisi nomor : LP/A/01/VIII/2022/Sek-Tal/Res tanggal 09 Agustus 2022.
“Berdasarkan surat perintah penangkapan nomor : SP.Kap/02/VIII/2022/Reskrim tanggal 9 Agustus 2022, dan bukti permulaan yang cukup telah dilakukan penangkapan terhadap tersangka WE dan kawan-kawan,” ujar Junaidi, Rabu (10/08/2022).
Dijelaskannya, dari tersangka, petugas menyita barang bukti berupa uang tunai sebanyak Rp.557.000,- satu lembar alas karton warna kuning, empat buah batu domino, tiga kotak kecil kartu ceki merk kapal feri.
“Saat ini tersangka beserta barang bukti telah dibawa ke Mapolsek Talamau untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut. Atas perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat Pasal 303 Jo 303 bis KUHP jo Undang-Undang RI tahun 1974 tentang Penertiban Perjudian,” jelasnya. (redaksi Swanara)
