Semarang.- Satuan Brimob Kepolisian Daerah Jawa Tengah (Polda Jateng) dikerahkan ke sejumlah daerah untuk membantu warga yang terdampak awan panas guguran Gunung Merapi pada Minggu (12/3/23).
“Upaya ini merupakan misi kemanusiaan akibat erupsi Gunung Merapi yang masih terjadi sejak Sabtu, Polda Jateng hadir untuk masyarakat,” jelas Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Tengah, Kombes. Pol. Muhammad Iqbal Alqudusy, S.H., S.I.K., Senin (13/3/23).
Kombes. Pol. Muhammad Iqbal Alqudusy menyebutkan sejumlah bataliyon Brimob yang bermarkas di naungan Polda Jateng melaksanakan antisipasi bencana Gunung Merapi. Personel juga akan mendirikan tenda di Desa Balerante, Kabupaten Klaten, di Selo, Kabupaten Boyolali dan di Kecamatan Dukuh, Kabupaten Magelang. Selain dari Brimob, personel Direktorat Samapta Polda Jateng juga diturunkan.
Lebih lanjut, ia menyebutkan para personel membagikan masker ke penduduk termasuk membantu membersihkan timbunan abu vulkanis.
Hal serupa juga dilakukan Polres Magelang Kota dan Polres Boyolali dengan melakukan pendataan kerugian materiil di lokasi bencana alam itu.
berdasarkan informasi Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kebencanaan Geologi (BPPTKG), awan panas guguran (APG) Gunung Merapi terpantau kembali pada Senin (13/3) sekitar pukul 05.23 WIB dengan jarak luncur 1.200 meter ke arah Barat Daya melintasi Kali Bebeng.(Redaksiswanara)
