Jakarta – Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta mewajibkan warga Jakarta mencetak ulang Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) elektronik pada 2024.
Pencetakan ulang e-KTP ini dilakukan lantaran Jakarta akan berganti dari Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota (DKI) menjadi Daerah Khusus Jakarta (DKJ).
“Kan pasti berubah kan Daerah Khusus Ibu Kota jadi Daerah Khusus Jakarta, tentunya harus ada penyesuaian di semua identitas,” ujarnya.
Joko menjelaskan sosialisasi rencana penggantian KTP ini akan dilakukan setelah perancangan Undang-Undang tentang Daerah Khusus Jakarta (DKJ) rampung.
“Nanti kami pasti akan sosialisasi karena RUU-nya sedang dalam proses penyelesaian. Insya Allah (2024), kami ikuti UU-ya, kalau UU-nya selesai,”ungkapnya.
Pemerintah pun menargetkan pembahasan RUU tentang DKJ selesai pada tahun ini. Regulasi tersebut dibutuhkan agar Jakarta tidak disamakan dengan daerah lain setelah kekhususannya sebagai ibu.
