Jakarta – perintah Panglima TNI Laksamana Yudo Margono menaikan status di Papua menjadi Siaga Tempur, membuat prajurit TNI lebih leluasa melakukan operasi pengejaran terhadap komplotan Kelompok Separatis Teroris/Organisasi Papua Merdeka (KST/OPM), pelaku penyanderaan dan pembunuhan keempat prajurit TNI beberapa waktu lalu, (24/4/2023).
Hal tersebut membuat komplotan KST/OPM terdesak dimana-mana. Panik dan kebingungan menghadapi tekanan prajurit TNI tersebut komplotan KST/OPM mulai membuat propaganda melalui agen-agennya di beberapa daerah.
Salah satu yang diserang oleh propaganda KST Papua adalah Panglima Yudo Margono. Hal tersebut beralasan mengingat Yudo lah yang memberikan perintah siaga tempur yang membuat KST terdesak. Sehingga salah satu propaganda mereka adalah bahwa Yudo sebagai sosok yang gagal sebagai Panglima TNI. Hal tersebut terkait dengan meningkatnya kekerasan di Papua semenjak Yudo menjadi Panglima.
Padahal situasi saat ini yang terjadi di Papua adalah warisan ketidakberesan manajemen pengelolan krisis di Papua yang lebih mementingkan pencitraan daripada menyelesaikan permasalahan Papua. Dan kini Yudo lah yang harus memberesi masalah yang ditinggalkan oleh pendahulunya tersebut.
Selain itu, propagandis KST/OPM juga menuding bahwa Siaga Tempur yang diperintahkan Yudo merupakan operasi pelanggaran HAM oleh TNI.
Padahal kita sama-sama melihat dan menyaksikan bahwa pendekatan Yudo sebelumnya merupakan pendekatan humanis yang tidak ingin ada korban di pihak sipil.
Namun, otak teroris KST/OPM lah yang memang gemar membuat masalah. Alih-alih mengedepankan dialog disaat pimpinan TNI mengendurkan tekanan, tapi malah membunuh lima orang prajurit TNI.
Dengan fakta ini semua orang pun tahu bahwa KST/OPM lah yang melanggar HAM.
Sehingga sudah tepat Panglima TNI mengambil tindakan tegas kepada KST/OPM agar lebih cepat tercipta kedamaian di bumi Cendrawasih.
Dari propaganda yang digencarkan oleh KST/OPM dan agen-agennya, tampak jelas kepanikan di barisannya.
Kepanikan dan kebingungan yang membuat mereka tidak bisa berfikir jernih dan malah bertindak serampangan.
Kebingungan karena berkurangnya simpati dan dukungan politik akibat ulahnya membunuh prajurit TNI.
Dari situ pula kita dapat mengerti bahwa langkah yang diambil Panglima TNI Yudo Margono sudah tepat. Sehingga KST/OPM merasa perlu untuk menyerang Yudo dengan harapan dapat mengambil keuntungan.
Semisal digantinya Yudo dengan Panglima TNI baru yang mungkin akan bertindak lebih soft sehingga memberikan mereka waktu untuk “bernafas” dan menyusun strategi dan kekuatan baru.
Tentunya kita tidak menginginkan hal tersebut terjadi. Kita semua menginginkan permasalahan Papua cepat selesai dengan cara yang bermartabat. Tanpa kompromi bahwa NKRI adalah harga mati.
Untuk itu seyogyanya kita terus mendukung langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh Panglima TNI untuk penyelesaian permasalahan Papua.
Sehingga operasi yang dilaksanakan oleh prajurit TNI berjalan lancar menumpas komplotan KST/OPM dari tanah Papua.
Kita juga mendorong agar pemerintah memberikan ketegasannya terhadap permasalahan Papua. Jangan lagi menggunakan Papua sebagai bargaining politik, sehingga sengaja memperpanjang konflik yang terjadi.
Dan yang terakhir mari kita dukung masyarakat Papua untuk bahu-membahu bersama aparat keamanan melawan komplotan KST/OPM, yang terbukti sebagai komplotan teroris kejam yang tak segan-segan melukai serta membunuh siapapun demi mencapai tujuannya.
Semoga kerja sama aparat keamanan dan masyarakat Papua dapat segera menyelesaikan konflik yang berlarut ini dan segera mendatangkan kedamaian di Bumi Cendrawasih tercinta dalam balutan NKRI.(Redaksi Swanara)
