Jakarta – Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo kembali mengingatkan kepada seluruh anggotanya untuk tidak memamerkan harta kekayaan di hadapan publik, terutama di media sosial.
Kapolri mengingatkan, menjadi seorang anggota Polri, terutama yang memimpin, harus memiliki karakter. Kemudian, seorang pemimpin juga harus mengingat bahwa tak semua masyarakat memiliki kemampuan yang sama secara materiil.
“Jadilah pemimpin yang berkarakter, karena ini menjadi sangat penting bagaimana kalian dikenang oleh anggota kalian karena kalian punya karakter yang baik, bisa dibanggakan, jangan bangga jadi pemipin yang dikenal karena hal-hal yang menurut saya tidak pas, misalkan, saya tahu, di antara kalian berangkat tidak semuanya dari orang biasa, banyak dari keluarga yang mampu, keluarga berada. Tapi saat kalian jadi pelayan publik, hindari memamerkan hal-hal seprti itu (pamer),” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut Jenderal Sigit menuturkan, anggota Polri harus memiliki prinsip yang kuat. Tak lupa, Kapolri berpesan, anggota Polri harus membedakan mana yang benar dan salah dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan.
“Tanamkan itu di dalam kegiatan sehari-hari,” ungkapnya.(Redaksiswanara)
