(Kota Magelang) Kepala BIN Daerah (Kabinda) Prov. Jawa Tengah, Brigjen TNI Sondi Siswanto, mengatakan pada hari ini BIN Jawa Tengah secara serentak melaksanakan vaksinasi massal Covid-19 usia 6-11 tahun dan masyarakat umum di 6 (enam) wilayah di Kota / Kabupaten di Provinsi Jawa Tengah, dengan total 10.000 dosis, Sabtu (11/2).
Adapun lokasi vaksinasi meliputi Kab. Wonogiri, Jepara, Grobogan, Kendal, Pekalongan, dan Kota Magelang sendiri.
Kabinda Jawa Tengah Brigjen TNI Sondi Siswanto menjelaskan bahwa gejala Covid-19 Omicron terbilang ringan, namun angka penularan yang tinggi memicu kekhawatiran pemerintah. Karena itu pemerintah tetap merekomendasikan penerapan protokol kesehatan (prokes) yang ketat agar fasilitas kesehatan tidak dibanjiri pasien Covid-19.
Selain itu, dikatakan Kabinda Jateng bahwa Presiden Joko Widodo telah mengapresiasi peran The Access to Covid-19 Tools Accelerator (ACT-A) dalam mendorong pengembangan dan akses yang berkeadilan terhadap obat, alat diagnostik, dan vaksin Covid-19 yang merupakan bagian penting arsitektur kesehatan dunia.
“ACT-A merupakan bagian penting arsitektur kesehatan dunia sekaligus bukti nyata manfaat multilateralisme. Ke depannya peran ACT-A masih sangat dibutuhkan, termasuk untuk menjembatani ketimpangan vaksinasi global. No one is safe until everyone is,” kata Presiden Joko Widodo dalam pidatonya untuk ACT-A sebagaimana ditayangkan Youtube Sekretariat Presiden pada Rabu (9 Februari 2022) kamarin,” ujar Kabinda menirukan kutipan Presiden Joko Widodo.
Selain itu, Kabinda Jawa Tengah juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tidak panik dan untuk sementara jangan bepergian keluar negeri terlebih dahulu.
“Jangan panik, tetap patuhi protokol kesehatan. Indonesia Sehat Indonesia Hebat,” terang Kabinda Jateng.
Sementara menurut Ketua Perkumpulan Wartawan Online (PWO) Magelang Raya, M. Arif Saefudin menjelaskan, untuk mengisi Hari Pers Nasional (HPN) tahun 2022, PWO Magelang Raya mengadakan aksi sosial salah satunya mengadakan vaksinasi massal Covid-19 di Kota Magelang. Dalam pelaksanaannya ini, PWO Magelang Raya menggandeng BIN Jawa Tengah, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Magelang melalui Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) dan Puskesmas yang ada di Kota Magelang.
“Hari ini adalah hari ke-6 pelaksanaan vaksinasi yang kita laksanakan, dimulai dari mulai Sabtu (5/2/2022) kemarin. Vaksinasi kita sasar ke para pelajar usia 6-11 tahun dan masyarakat umum dengan sasaran vaksin jenis Booster. Semoga target yang kita rencanakan bisa terwujud,” jelas Arif ketua pwo magelang raya dan sekaligus kordinator acara tersebut.
