Banggai – Personel Polsek dan Koramil Toili mengamankan jalannya ibadah upacara Ngerupuk dalam rangka Hari Raya Nyepi Tahun Baru Caka 1945, Selasa (21/3/2023) sekitar pukul 19.00 Wita.
Upacara Ngerupuk adalah upacara yang dilakukan untuk mengusir Bhuta Kala atau kejahatan sebelum Nyepi.
“Dalam pengamanan ini kita dibantu Pecalang atau pengamanan adat,” ungkap Kapolsek Toili Iptu Nanang Afrioko.
Pengamanan ini juga dilakukan aparat kepolisian gabungan rangka mengantisipasi kemungkinan terjadinya gangguan Kamtibmas terhadap umat hindu yang sedang melaksanakan rangkaian ibadah nyepi.
“Kita akan berupaya semaksimal mungkin untuk menjaga kondusifitas,” terangnya.
Selain pengamanan, aparat gabungan juga melakukan pengaturan dan rekayasa lalu lintas guna mencegah terjadinya kemacetan.
“Semua ini demi terciptanya rasa aman bagi seluruh umat hindu yang sedang melaksanakan rangkaian ibadah nyepi di wilayah hukum Polsek Toili,” tandasnya.
Adapun rangkaian ibadah upacara Ngerupuk yakni, Pawai Ogoh-ogoh dan Pembakaran Ogoh-ogoh.
“Upacara Ngerupuk ini berjalan tertib dan lancar hingga pukul 22.00 Wita,” tutup Nanang.
