Jakarta – Kapolda Sumut Irjen Pol Panca Putra Simanjuntak lagi dan lagi terus membuktikan komitmennya dalam menumpaskan kejahatan dan keresahan masyarakatnya, kinerja Kapolda Sumut Irjen Panca dengan Ditreskrimum Sumut dan jajaran terlihat kerap membongkar sindikat Narkoba seperti beberapa waktu yang lalau Lokasi basis narkoba dan perjudian yang terus beroperasi yang terletak di Jermal 15.
Polda Sumut mengamankan dan menyita puluhan mesin judi beraneka jenis yang tersedia di lokasi bagi pecandu Narkoba dan Judi. Bahkan narkoba jenis sabu dan perangkat lengkap pengguna sabu ditemukan dan disita dari lokasi Jermal 15.
pada januari hingga 15 maret 2023 Polda Sumut menangkap 21 orang pelaku dalam kasus narkoba. Dari para pelaku polisi mengamankan ratusan kilogram narkoba jenis sabu maupun ganja. Diketahui narkoba yang diamankan itu, yakni sabu-sabu sebanyak 263 kilogram, ganja 233 kilogram dan ekstasi 19.760 butir. Narkoba itu merupakan hasil pengungkapan Polda Sumut bersama Polrestabes Medan, Porles Langkat, dan Polres Asahan
tidak hanya itu, Kapolda Sumut Irjen RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak membentak para pelaku penyerangan polisi saat penggerebekan lapak judi dan narkoba di Desa Namo Rube Julo, Kabupaten Deli Serdang.
“Kalau salah, ditangkap, sudah, jangan lawan petugas, Kalau Anda lawan petugas, itu namanya menantang negara, saya harus sampaikan ini, ujar Kapolda Sumut ada saat conferensi pers pada 14 April 2023
