Tapanuli Selatan – Kapolres Tapanuli Selatan (Tapsel), AKBP Imam Zamroni, SIK, MH, teken perjanjian kerja sama dengan Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU), di Aula Pratidina Mako Polres setempat. Adapun yang melakukan perjanjian kerja sama dengan Kapolres yakni, KPU Tapsel dan Padang Lawas Utara (Paluta).
Pada sambutannya, Kapolres menyatakan, sinergisitas pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi dalam prnyelenggaraan Pemilu dan Pilkada 2024 Kabupaten Tapsel dan Paluta, meliputi pertukaran dan pemanfaatan data dan/atau informasi bantuan pengamanan.
“Kemudian, penegakan hukum, perumusan peraturan teknis, peningkatan kapasitas dan pemanfaatan sumber daya manusia, dan pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana,” jelas Kapolres.
Sedangkan tujuan perjanjian kerja sama ini, menurut Kapolres, merupakan atensi lima program prioritas Presiden RI. Untuk itu, ia mengajak segenap pihak untuk bersama-sama menyukseskan Pemilu serentak 2024. Dia juga berharap, kegiatan tersebut tidak hanya seremonial penandatanganan kerja sama belaka.
“Harapannya ke depan, mari singkirkan ego sektoral. Sehingga seluruh tahapan Pemilu tahun 2024 dapat berjalan dengan baik,” harap Kapolres.
Sebelumnya, Ketua KPU Tapsel, Panataran Simanjuntak, MHum, ucapkan terima kasih atas pelaksanaan perjanjian kerja sama tersebut. Menurutnya, selama ia bertugas kurun waktu 10 tahun, baru ini kali ada pelaksanaan perjanjian kerja sama antara penyelenggara Pemilu dengan Polri khususnya Polres Tapsel.
“Dan ini merupakan sejarah bagi KPU Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Ke depan, kami berharap, sinergitas seluruh jajaran KPU dan Polres Tapanuli Selatan dapat berjalan dengan baik,” ucapnya.
Ketua KPU Paluta, Ongkusyah Harahap, SE, juga mengucapkam hal yang senada. Dia berharap, dengan adanya perjanjian kerja sama ini, seluruh rangkaian atau tahapan Pemilu 2024 ini dapat terlaksana secara aman, lancar, dan baik.(Redaksiswanara)
