Cirebon – Polres Cirebon Kota, melalui Satuan Reserse Narkoba menangkap 12 orang pelaku pengedar narkotika dan obat-obatan terlarang yang diringkus selama September 2023.
Wakapolres Cirebon Kota, Kompol Rizky Adi Saputro, mengatakan 12 tersangka itu terdiri dari TA (27), AR (40), HS (36), DK (41), IR (24), MA (26), SA (26), MH (36), AD (20), SK (29), BA (23), dan AS (22).
“Mereka ditangkap di sejumlah tempat di wilayah hukum Polres Cirebon Kota yakni di Kecamatan Kesambi, Mundu, Gunung Jati, Suranenggala, Kedawung, dan Harjamukti,” ujarnya.
Kompol Rizky Adi Saputro, menjelaskan para tersangka itu rata-rata telah menjalankan aksinya selama kurang lebih dua bulan hingga satu tahun, modus yang digunakan yaitu dengan sistem tempel dan dijual secara daring.
Ia mengatakan dari hasil pemeriksaan, para tersangka itu diduga mengedarkan narkoba jenis sabu, tembakau sintetis dan obat-obatan sediaan farmasi tanpa izin edar yang sah.
Pihak kepolisian berhasil menyita 19 paket sabu seberat 10,53 gram, 146.500 butir obat sediaan farmasi tanpa izin edar, 40 butir pil merlopam dan satu paket tembakau sintetis seberat 15,07 gram dari tangan para pelaku untuk dijadikan barang bukti.
“Dari jumlah barang bukti yang disita, kami berhasil menyelamatkan 10 ribu orang dari penyalahgunaan narkoba,” ujarnya.
ia menuturkan para tersangka yang mengedarkan obat sediaan farmasi tanpa izin edar dijerat Pasal 435 Jo Pasal 436 Ayat 2 UU RI Nomor 17 tahun 2023 tentang kesehatan.
“Ancaman pidana penjara paling lama 12 tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp500 juta,” ujarnya.
Dalam mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya pelaku pengedar sabu dan tembakau sintetis dijerat Pasal 112 Ayat 2 jo 114 2 UU RI Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.
Ia menyebutkan para pelaku tersebut bakal menerima pidana maksimal seumur hidup atau paling lama 20 tahun.
“Untuk denda paling besar Rp8 miliar,” katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
