Wakil Ketua DPR RI : Satgas TPPO Bekerja Maksimal

Jakarta – Wakil Ketua DPR RI, Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, berharap Satuan Tugas Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (Satgas TPPO) dapat bekerja maksimal.

“Polri saya kira merespon kasus TPPO ini dengan cepat,” ujarnya.

Gus Muhaimin meminta Satgas TPPO mempelajari dan menelusuri modus-modus pengiriman korban TPPO ke negara tujuan. Tujuannya agar Satgas TPPO melakukan upaya preventif yang efektif, dan efisien, dalam pemberantasan sindikat TPPO.

Ia juga mendorong Satgas TPPO bekerja sama dengan TNI, Polri dan aparat penegak hukum lainnya. Hal itu untuk meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap potensi pengiriman korban TPPO melalui jalur darat, laut, maupun udara.

“Pemetaan potensi wilayah rawan dan rentan pengiriman korban TPPO terutama di daerah perbatasan perlu dilakukan. Apalagi sekarang modus operandi TPPO juga semakin beragam, jadi perlu terobosan penanganan,” terang Gus Muhaimin.

Gus Muhaimin mengimbau masyarakat untuk proaktif membantu Satgas, jika menemukan dugaan praktik TPPO. “Jangan sungkan melaporkan kepada aparat penegak hukum kalau ada informasi soal TPPO di lingkungan terdekat,” imbau Gus Muhaimin.(Redaksiswanara)
