Tanah Karo – Wakapolda Sumatera Utara Brigjen Pol. Drs. Jawari S.H.,M.H kembali menyapa Ibu-ibu dan Bapak-bapak jamaah Masjid pada saat melakukan Safari Subuh ke Masjid Nurul Islam, Jl. Seksama Medan Denai. Jumat. (24/03).
Wakapolda Sumut turut didampingi Direktur Binmas Polda Sumut Kombes Pol. Jafar Sodiq, S.H.,M.M., dan Ustadz Abdul Mukmin Dalimunthe, M.Pd.I. serta para Jamaah yang melaksanakan Sholat Subuh Komandan Sat Brimob Polda Sumut Kombes Pol. Christiyanto Goetomo, S.I.K.,S.H.,M.H., Plt. Kabid TIK Polda Sumut Kombes Pol. Wahyu Kuncoro, S.I.K.,M.H., dan Kasubbid Penmas Bid Humas Polda Sumut AKBP Dr. Herwansyah Putra S.H.,M.Si., yang langsung disambut oleh Pengurus BKM Masjid Nurul Islam.
Pada sambutannya Wakapolda Sumut Brigjen Jawari menyampaikan bahwa tujuan melaksanakan safari subuh ini adalah untuk menyampaikan amanah atau tugas polisi kepada masyarakat. Amanah pertama bahwa Polri adalah memelihara harkamtibmas, amanah yang kedua adalah menegakkan hukum yang adil, amanah yang ketiga adalah melayani, melindungi dan mengayomi.
“Untuk menjaga keamanan salah satunya yakni dengan cara meningkatkan keimanan, khususnya keimanan masyarakat. Keamanan tidak akan pernah terlepas oleh keimanan, bagaimana keamanan akan terjaga jika keimanan tidak terjaga atau rendah. Dengan meningkatkan keimanan masyarakat, maka akan memperkecil kemungkinan terjadinya penyakit masyarakat yang dapat mengganggu kemananan,” jelas Jawari.(Redaksiswanara)
