Jakarta – Sebuah video yang menayangkan seorang pria berseragam polisi tengah mengecek surat kendaraan pengendara mobil viral di medsos. Pria tersebut dinarasikan sebagai polisi gadungan.
Menanggapi viral ini, Direktorat Lalu Lintas Polda Metro Jaya menyelidiki pria berseragam polisi yang memberhentikan dan mengecek surat-surat pengendara. Selain itu, Bidang Profesi dan Pengamanan (Bid Propam) Polda Metro Jaya turut dilibatkan.
“Terkait ini (video yang viral) sedang kita dalami dan kita laporkan ke reskrim dan Propam untuk lidik (usut),” jelas Direktur Lalu Lintas Polda Jaya, Kombes Latif Usman dalam keterangannya, Minggu (31/7/2022).
Menurut Latif, pihaknya belum bisa berkomentar terkait sosok pria berpakaian polisi yang terekam dalam video tersebut apakah terdaftar sebagai anggota atau polisi gadungan. Dia menyebut keberadaan pelaku sedang dicari.
“Baru dalam lidik sedang dicari (pelakunya),” ujarnya.
Sebelumnya, salah satu akun Instagram, @jakpus24jam yang mengunggah video tersebut menginformasi bahwa peristiwa pria diduga polisi gadungan memeriksa surat-surat kendaraan yang melewati sekitaran Roxy, Cideng, Jakarta Pusat.
Dalam video terlihat, perekam menyalip kendaraan yang sedang diberhentikan oleh seorang polisi diduga gadungan. Terdengar, perekam berteriak bahwa orang itu bukanlah polisi sungguhan.
