Jakarta – Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya bersama dengan Satreskrim Polres jajaran di wilayah hukum Polda Metro menangkap 296 tersangka kasus kejahatan yang meresahkan selama 30 hari dari tanggal 17 Januari 2023 hingga 15 Februari 2023.
Ratusan tersangka itu ditangkap dari sebanyak 199 kasus yang diungkap oleh pihak kepolisian. Hal tersebut disampaikan saat rilis hasil kegiatan rutin yang ditingkatkan (KRYD).
“Hasil yang kita peroleh bahwa kita bisa mengungkap 199 kasus dengan 296 tersangka,” ujar Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi.
Seluruh tersangka yang ditangkap dari berbagai jenis kejahatan jalanan seperti pencurian dengan kekerasan atau begal, pencurian dengan pemberatan, serta pencurian motor.
Hengki menuturkan, sebanyak 17 kasus target operasi dan 182 bukan target operasi, dimana jejahatan curas sebanyak 12 kasus, curat 36 kasus dan curanmor 37 kasus.
Barang bukti yang disita dari seluruh kasus yang diungkap yakni 8 unit mobil, 121 unit motor, 3 pucuk senjata api, 18 bilah senjata tajam, 111 unit handphone, dan uang Rp15.660.500.
Seluruh pelaku kejahatan pencurian dengan kekerasan dikenakan Pasal 365 KUHP dimana ancaman pidana penjara paling lama 9 tahun, sementara para pelaku pencurian dengan pemberatan dikenakan Pasal 363 KUHP dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling lama 7 tahun.
Polda Metro Koordinasi dengan Kejaksaan Beratkan Hukuman Pelaku Kejahatan
Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya bersama dengan Satreskrim Polres jajaran menangkap 296 tersangka dari 199 kasus kejahatan yang meresahkan masyarakat.
Dari ratusan tersangka itu, sebanyak 24 tersangka merupakan residivis yang tertangkap kembali setelah melakukan kejahatannya.
“(Dari) 296 orang (tersangka yang ditangkap), diantaranya adalah residivis 24 orang, artinya yang bersangkutan ini dalam waktu residif (residivistis) mengulangi perbuatannya,” ujar Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi.
Hengki menuturkan, pihak kepolisian akan bekerja sama dengan pihak kejaksaan untuk memaksimalkan hukuman pidana kepada para pelaku kasus kejahatan di masyarakat agar menimbulkan efek jera.
“Oleh karenanya kami sudah bekerja sama, berkoordinasi dengan pihak Kejaksaan, terhadap kasus-kasus yang menonjol yang meresahkan masyarakat, kita harapkan bisa dituntut maksimal sehingga menimbulkan efek jera,” papar Hengki.
Terlebih, untuk para pelaku kejahatan yang berstatus residivis dengan berencana untuk menambahkan Pasal untuk memberatkan hukumannya.
“Dan khusus untuk pelaku-pelaku yang residivis, itu namanya ada tenggang waktu masa waktu residif, rentang waktu tertentu yang bersangkutan melakukan tindak pidana serupa, maka akan kita tambahkan pasal 486 KUHP, ancamannya akan ditambah lagi buat pelaku supaya jera,” jelasnya.
Amankan 121 Motor dan 8 Mobil Hasil Kejahatan
Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya menangkap 296 tersangka kejahatan dalam kurun waktu 30 hari terakhir dari 17 Januari hingga 15 Februari 2023.
Keseluruhan tersangka yang ditangkap dari berbagai jenis kejahatan jalanan, mulai dari pencurian dengan kekerasan (curas), pencurian dengan pemberatan (curat) serta pencurian kendaraan bermotor (curanmor).
“Kendaraan roda empat ada delapan unit, sementara roda dua 121 unit yang nantinya sebagian akan kita kembalikan kepada korban begal, sementara itu kita sita 3 pucuk senjata api, sajam 18 bilah, handphone 111 unit dan uang sebesar Rp 15.660.500,” kata Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi.
Lebih jauh Hengki mengungkapkan, para tersangka ini biasanya melakukan aksinya secara berkelompok. Mereka juga membawa senjata tajam saat melakukan aksinya.
“Kemudian ada juga pelaku yang berpura-pura sebagai aparat melakukan razia, ternyata melakukan ancaman kekerasan,” tuturnya.
Adapun aksi kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh ratusan tersangka itu juga mengakibatkan sejumlah korban. Antara lain, satu orang meninggal dunia, satu orang luka berat, dan tujuh orang luka ringan.
Sementara itu, Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko mengatakan, bagi masyarakat yang merasa kendaraannya pernah menjadi korban pencurian atau begal bisa menghubungi bagian Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.
