Jakarta, —Tingkatkan hubungan kerjasama antara kedua negara, TNI Angkatan Laut (TNI AL) mengerahkan dua Kapal perangnya yaitu KRI Bung Tomo-357 dan KRI Bubara-868 guna melaksanakan latihan tahap laut, bersama dengan Kapal Perang Angkatan Laut Perancis yaitu LHD Dixmude (L9015) dan La Fayette (F 710), Kamis (30/03/2023) di Perairan Jakarta.
Komandan Guspurla Koarmada I Laksma TNI Heri Triwibowo, S.E., M.Si. yang onboard di atas KRI Bung Tomo-357 sebagai pengendali taktis latihan memastikan agar rangkaian kegiatan latihan dapat terlaksana dengan aman dan lancar, sesuai prosedur, memperhatikan keamanan personel dan materiil.
Danguspurla Koarmada I mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan Passing Exercise (Passex) semacam ini merupakan moment yang sangat penting sebagai salah satu implementasi dari peran TNI AL dalam diplomasi angkatan laut. “Passex tersebut sebagai media menjalin komunikasi dan saling pengertian, melatih kerjasama antar personel kedua pihak, dan meningkatkan profesionalitas prajurit, serta mempererat seaman brotherhood,” ungkap Laksma TNI Heri Triwibowo.
Singgahnya LHD Dixmude dan La Fayette di Indonesia dan masuk ke Jakarta dalam rangka misi “Jeanne d’Arc”, yakni pelayaran keliling dunia selama lima bulan. Misi tersebut merupakan tahap penutup pelatihan akademis para perwira siswa Akademi Angkatan Laut yang ada di Perancis.
Ditempat terpisah Kepala Staf Angkatan Luat (Kasal) Laksamana TNI Muhammad Ali menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kerjasama khususnya dibidang latihan dengan negara sahabat menjadi salah satu prioritas. “Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia secara bilateral dalam bentuk latihan dan pendidikan mutlak harus dilaksanakan dengan negara-negara sahabat”, tegas Kasal.
