Pria Tersebut diamankan Saat melintas di Jalan Dusun Sumping Rt 003 Rw 000, Desa Batu Penyu kec. Gantung Kabupaten Belitung Timur. Saat dilakukan penggeledahan badan ditemukanlah plastik bening yang diduga narkotika jenis Sabu -Sabu di dalam tas selempang warna coklat yang dipakai oleh pelaku tersebut.
Kasi Humas Polres Belitung Timur Kompol Sukimin seijin Kapolres Belitung Timur AKBP Taufik Noor Isya, SIK kepada awak media membenarkan bahwa Tim Rajawali Sat Reserse Narkoba Polres Belitung Timur dipimpin langsung oleh Kasat Narkoba Polres Beltim AKP Suroso, SH berhasil mengamankan Seorang pria warga Mesuji, Lampung karena mengedarkan Sabu-sabu.
Adapun barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan yaitu barang yang diduga narkotika jenis sabu-sabu seberat 29,01 gram dikemas didalam 2 (dua) Paket Besar , 8 (delapan) paket sedang, 16 (enam belas) paket kecil, uang tunai sejumlah Rp 6.000.000.- (enam juta rupiah) dengan pecahan Rp 100.000 (seratus ribu rupiah) sebanyak 48 lembar, Pecahan Rp 50.000 (lima puluh ribu rupiah) sebanyak 24 lembar, 1 (satu) unit handphone merek itel A26 warna biru muda dengan No sim 0822 6250 2043, 2 (dua) buah korek api gas warna hijau, 1 (satu) unit timbangan digital merk F1976 (2009×0.01), 1 (satu) pak plastik strip bening ukuran kecil, 1 (satu) buah buku catatan berukuran sedang, 1 (satu) buah box plastik warna putih bening, 1 ( satu) buah tas selempang Merk Pro Fessional warna Coklat, 1 (satu) unit Sepeda motor Yamaha Soul GT dengan No. Pol BN-5564-XA No. rangka MH31KP00DEJ859378, No. Mesin 1KP-859405.
Ia menjelaskan, terungkapnya kasus peredaran narkotika jenis sabu-sabu ini berawal dari informasi masyarakat tentang seringnya terjadi transaksi narkotika di Wilayah Kecamatan Gantung Kabupaten Belitung Timur.
“Dari laporan itu kami melakukan penyelidikan dan Alhamdulillah berhasil menemukan target operasi dan mengungkap kasus peredaran sabu-sabu tersebut,” jelas Kompol Sukimin.
Untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya pelaku dikenakan Pasal 114 ayat (2) atau pasal 112 ayat (2) UU No.35 Th 2009 tentang narkotika dengan ancaman hukuman penjara maksimal seumur hidup atau dua puluh tahun penjara.
