Padang- Tiga petak kontrakan dan empat unit motor hangus terbakar di kawasan Taman Harmonis, Kecamatan Kuranji, Kota Padang.
Polisi dari sektor Kuranji beserta pemadam kebakaran yang ada dilokasi berupaya untuk menjinakan sijago merah.
Kepala Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) Kota Padang, Budi Payan mengatakan peristiwa tersebut dilaporkan terjadi pada Kamis (25/8/2022) pukul 20.19 WIB.
Bangunan yang terbakar ini satu rumah, namun berupa tiga petak kontrakan,” kata Budi Payan.
Sementara itu, Kabid Operasi dan Sarana Prasarana (Sarpras) Dinas Damkar Kota Padang, Sutan Hendra mengatakan, pemilik bangunan bernama Evi Yanti, 42 tahun dan rumah tersebut dikontrak oleh Rahmat Hidayat, 34 tahun.
“Rumah yang terbakar tersebut berisikan penghuni sebanyak 10 orang, tidak ada korban jiwa,” katanya.
Meski tak ada korban jiwa, Sutan menjelaskan, kerugian dalam peristiwa tersebut ditaksir mencapai Rp400 juta.
“Itu sudah termasuk empat motor yang berada di lokasi kebakaran,” ujar Sutan.
Untuk memadamkan api, Dinas Damkar Kota Padang menerjunkan enam unit armada ke lokasi kejadian dengan 30 personel dari Pleton B.
“Tidak ada kendala berarti, namun ramainya masyarakat menyaksikan (kebakaran) karena kawasan padat penduduk dengan akses jalan sempit,” katanya.(Redaksi Swanara)
