Letkol Inf Sambas selaku panitia TKJ Periodik menyampaikan bahwa, “Tes Kesegaran Jasmani (TKJ) meliputi samapta ‘A’ lari 12 menit dan samapta ‘B’ restok, sit up, Pus up dan sutle run dan di tambah renang 50 meter TKJ ini sebagai tolak ukur untuk mengukur tingkat kesegaran jasmani organik Akmil setiap Semester yang bagi sesuai dengan kelompok umur.
Diharapkan apabila Setiap orang mempunyai kesegaran jasmani yang baik maka akan dapat mendukung kinerja, serta bisa melaksanakan pekerjaannya secara efektif dan efisien. Tingkat kebugaran jasmani seseorang sangat menentukan kemampuan fisikya dalam melakukan tugas sehari-hari. Semakin tinggi tingkat kebugaran jasmani seseorang, semakin tinggi pula kemampuan kerja fisiknya”, lanjutnya.
