Perayaan Hari Lanjut Usia Nasional (HLUN) ke 27 mencapai puncaknya pada Senin (29/5). Rangkaian kegiatan yang dimulai pada awal mei tersebut ditutup dengan acara puncak yang bertempat di Kantor Bupati Dharmasraya, Pulau Punjung Senin (29/05).
Pasca menghadiri puncak HLUN, Menteri Sosial Tri Rismaharini menyerukan agar semua orang merawat lansia, tanpa perlu memandang generasi. “Saya berpesan pada seluruh pihak. Tidak hanya anak-anak, bahwa apa pun kita, siapa pun kita, saat ini kita ada karena orangtua. Jangan kemudian mereka saat ini sudah tidak bisa menolong kita, kemudian merepotkan kita, kita tidak mau merawatnya,” kata Mensos saat memberikan keterangan di hadapan awak media.
Melalui momentum HLUN ini, Mensos mengajak semua orang kembali mengingat dan menghormati jasa-jasa orangtua yang telah merawat anak-anaknya. “Kita lahir kita tidak bisa apa-apa bahkan ke belakang (buang air besar) saja enggak bisa semua, makan enggak bisa. Jangan telantarkan mereka, siapa pun mereka. Apa pun kita, itu ada karena mereka,” ujar Mensos Tri Rismaharini
Peringatan HLUN di Kabupaten Dharmasraya, Provinsi Sumatera Barat tahun 2023, mengambil tema “Lansia Terawat, Indonesia Bermartabat”. Kabupaten berpenduduk 228 ribu ini dipilih sebagai tuan rumah karena tingginya angka pernikahan siri pada lanjut usia
Rangkaian acara HLUN ke-27 Tahun 2023 dimulai pada tanggal 1 — 28 Mei 2023 dan bulan Mei disebut sebagai Bulan Lansia. Peringatan HLUN merupakan bentuk apresiasi negara atas semangat jiwa raga serta peran penting para lanjut usia Indonesia dalam kiprahnya mempertahankan kemerdekaan, mengisi pembangunan dan memajukan bangsa. UU No. 13 tahun 1998 tentang Kesejahteraan Lanjut Usia mengamanatkan, pembangunan kesos harus berorientasi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan sosial lanjut usia, karena lanjut usia memiliki pengalaman, keahlian dan kearifan untuk berperan serta dalam pembangunan nasional.
Untuk memenuhi hak-hak lansia, dalam peringatan HLUN 2023, Kemensos menyalurkan bantuan total sebesar Rp23,89 milyar untuk 11 kecamatan di Kabupaten Dharmasraya.
Dalam Peringatan HLUN tahun 2023, dilaksanakan pelayanan bagi lanjut usia mulai dari pemberian bantuan sosial, kesehatan, pemenuhan hak sipil, penyuluhan terkait perawatan bagi lanjut usia dan pemberian penghargaan bagi lansia yang berprestasi maupun pihak-pihak yang berprestasi dan berkontribusi di bidang kelanjutusiaan.
Untuk layanan pemenuhan hak sipil, meliputi pembuatan E-KTP lanjut usia, akte kelahiran, kartu keluarga, dan isbat nikah. Kemensos bersama Pemerintah Kabupaten Dharmasraya melakukan pengumpulan data lansia yang mengikuti isbat nikah. Rangkaian isbat nikah terpadu telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 22 dan 25 Mei, dan pada hari puncak tanggal 29 Mei 2023 mendatatang. Pelayanan isbat nikah bekerja sama dengan Pengadilan Agama setempat untuk pengesahan status pernikahan.
“Ya jadi setelah kita screening dalam rangka HLUN ini ada beberapa warga yg ternyata tidak punya surat nikah. Impactnya besar sekali, sebetulnya saya pikirkan saat itu bagaimana status anak-anak kalau dia tidak ada surat nikah, tentu dia tidak ada KK,” kata Mensos.
Sementara itu, Bupati Dharmasraya, Sutan Riska Tuanku Kerajaan, dalam sambutannya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Mensos, karena mempercayakan Kabupaten Dharmasraya sebagai tuan rumah Hari Lanjut Usia Nasional (HLUN) ke 27 dan Hari Taruna Siaga Bencana (Tagana) ke 19 Tahun 2023.
Ketua Umum Apkasi itu mengatakan, dengan menjadi tuan rumah HLUN dan Hari Tagana, Dharmasraya dikunjungi dari seluruh pelosok Indonesia. Dari Aceh sampai Papua, dari Miangas sampai Pulau Rote.
