Surakarta – Surakarta Police Chief Sr. Comr. Pol. Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK.MH together with the Surakarta City Forkopimda directly reviewed a number of Security Posts (Pos Pam) and Service Posts (Pos Yan) as well as Integrated Posts in the framework of Operation Ketupat Candi 2025, Friday (03/28/2025).
This activity was carried out to ensure the readiness of personnel and infrastructure in securing the flow of homecoming and return travelers for Eid al-Fitr 1446 H.
The Mayor of Surakarta appreciated the performance of all joint personnel who had carried out the task of securing Eid with full dedication. He emphasized the importance of synergy between agencies in order to create a safe and comfortable homecoming atmosphere for the community.
“This inspection is to ensure that personnel and supporting facilities in the field are truly ready to serve the public. I ask that officers always be vigilant and maintain their health while on duty,” said Respati.
Meanwhile, Surakarta Police Chief Sr. Comr. Pol. Catur Cahyono Wibowo, SIK. MH said that the Surakarta Police have set up security posts and one service post spread across points prone to traffic congestion.
“All personnel and facilities are ready. We have also taken anticipatory steps based on the evaluation of the previous year and current conditions in the field,” explained the Police Chief.
The Police Chief also appealed to the public, especially travelers, not to hesitate to use the facilities at the security posts and services available, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing safety when driving.(Redaksi swanara)
