Jakarta – Seorang pria berinisial AG (58) mencoba mengakhiri hidup dengan menenggak racun tikus di Matraman, Jakarta Timur. Dia nekat melakukan hal tersebut lantaran terlilit utang renternir atau bank keliling.
Terkait perkembangannya, Kapolsek Matraman Kompol Tedjo Asmoro mengatakan nyawa korban akhirnya bisa diselamatkan. Bahkan saat ini, AG sudah kembali ke rumahnya.
“Tidak meninggal. Kemarin info sudah baik,” ujar Kompol Tedjo Asmoro saat dikonfirmasi, Senin (22/8/2022).
Sebelumnya, Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan membenarkan adanya kejadian tersebut. Peristiwa itu dilakukan korban, AG (58), di rumah indekos di Pisangan Baru, Matraman, Jakarta Timur, Jumat (19/8) sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB.
“Jadi awalnya anggota Bhabinkamtibmas mendapatkan informasi dari masyarakat ada korban yang dirawat di Puskesmas Matraman karena minum racun tikus,” ungkap Zulpan dalam keterangannya, Sabtu (20/8/2022) lalu.
Anggota Polsek Matraman lalu melakukan pengecekan ke puskesmas. “Dan memang benar ada seorang laki-laki inisial AG yang dirawat intensif karena minum racun tikus,” terang Zulpan.(Redaksi Swanara)
