NTT – Satuan Reserse Narkoba (Satresnarkoba) Polres Manggarai Barat berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyelundupan narkotika jenis sabu-sabu oleh seorang pemuda berinisial F (23) asal Desa Rasabou, Kecamatan Sape, Kabupaten Bima, Provinsi NTB.
Penangkapan berlangsung di Pelabuhan ASDP Labuan Bajo pada Jumat (1/9/2023) lalu sekitar pukul 18.30 Wita.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Minggu (3/8) Kapolres Manggarai Barat, AKBP Ari Satmoko, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., melalui Kasat Resnarkoba Polres Mabar Iptu Matheos A. D. Siok menjelaskan bahwa penangkapan ini berawal dari informasi yang diterima dari masyarakat.
“Setelah melakukan penyelidikan dan pemantauan di lokasi yang disebutkan dalam informasi tersebut, petugas berhasil mengidentifikasi gerak-gerik mencurigakan dari terduga pelaku”, jelas Kasat Narkoba.
Pada saat penangkapan dan penggeledahan terhadap terduga pelaku, polisi menemukan barang bukti yang terkait dengan tindak pidana narkotika.
Dua paket shabu-shabu ditemukan disembunyikan dalam silikon handphone yang berada di kantong celana terduga pelaku.
Barang bukti lainnya yang berhasil diamankan meliputi satu unit silikon handphone warna biru dan satu unit handphone merek Vivo warna hitam.
“Dua plastik bening berisi narkotika jenis sabu-sabu dengan berat bruto 0,12 gram dan 0,13 gram, 1 unit silikon handphone warna biru, dan 1 unit handphone merek Vivo warna hitam,”ungkapnya.
Terduga pelaku beserta barang bukti telah diamankan di Kantor Satresnarkoba Polres Manggarai Barat untuk proses penyelidikan dan penyidikan lebih lanjut.
“Terduga pelaku dihadapkan pada Pasal 127 ayat (1) huruf a Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia No. 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, yang berpotensi menjatuhkan hukuman penjara selama 4 tahun”, terangnya.
Iptu Matheos A. D. Siok juga menyampaikan imbauan kepada masyarakat, khususnya warga Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, terutama di Labuan Bajo, untuk aktif melaporkan penyalahgunaan narkotika kepada petugas terdekat.
“Polres Manggarai Barat berkomitmen untuk menindak tegas para pelaku tindak pidana narkotika demi menjaga keamanan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat”, katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
