Penangkapan tersebut dipimpin langsung Kasat Narkoba Iptu Renly H. Turangan, SH., bersama anggota Satuan Narkoba Polres Pohuwato.
Adapun kronologis penangkapan, Senin 22 Januari 2023 bermula dengan mendapatkan informasi tentang adanya barang haram (narkotika) yang digunakan oleh kedua terduga pelaku lelaki berinisial BY dan AI, disalah satu rumah berlokasi didesa Sipatana kec. Duhihadaa kab. Pohuwato. Satuan Res Narkoba bergerak cepat yang dipimpin langsung oleh Kasat Res Narkoba bersama anggota menuju desa Sipatana sekitar pukul 08.35 Wita, melakukan penangkapan dan pengeledahan terhadap kedua terduga pelaku lelaki berinisial BY, dan lelaki AI, bersama barang bukti, 1 (satu) paket plastik klip diduga berisi Narkotika jenis Shabu, 1 (satu) buah alat hisap siap pakai, 1 (satu) buah kaca pirex sudah terisi dan tersisa diduga narkotika jenis diduga Shabu, 1 (satu) alat isap Shabu, ” kata Renly.
Kini kedua terduga pelaku Penyalagunaan Narkotika bersama barang bukti diamankan di Polres Pohuwato, guna penyidikan lebih lanjut. ” tutur Kasat Narkoba.
