” Kegiatan ini berkaitan dengan meningkatnya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah hukum Polresta barelang.Dan kemacetan arus lalu lintas yang di sebabkan oleh banyaknya kendaraan yang membawa muatan barang di luar kapasitas JBB.
” Kegiatan yang di pimpin langsung oleh Kanit Turjawali Ipda Yudhi Patra dengan sasaran Para Sopir Truck, Truck Dump, Truck Fuso dan kendaraan angkutan ekspedisi yang melintas di wilayah Hukum Polresta Barelang.
” Kasatlantas Polresta Barelang Kompol Ricky Firmansyah SH, SIK, MH Melalui Kanit Turjagwali Ipda Yudhi Patra mengatakan bahwa dampak dari ketidak patuhan angkutan truk berupa Over Dimension dan Overload (ODOL) berpengaruh besar pada tingkat kecelakaan lalu lintas dijalan dan pengaruh secara teknis akibat odol yang berujung pada insiden fatal pun beragam seperti underspeed, pecah ban maupun rem blong.

” Ini bertujuan untuk menjaga keselamatan sesama pengguna jalan dan memperkecil angka kecelakaan dan kemacetan arus lalu lintas di Kota Batam, semoga dengan di laksanakan nya kegiatan ini akan menyadarkan sopir ataupun selaku pelaku usaha yang menggunakan kendaraan Truk dengan memaksakan muatan yang sangat berat dan berlebih di luar kapasitas kendaraan sehingga berpotensi membahayakan bagi pengguna jalan lainnya.
