Seruyan – Satlantas Polres Seruyan mengadakan sosialisasi tertib lalu lintas. Sosialisasi kepada Masyarakat umum, sopir angkutan umum dan truk itu, Sabtu (04/3/2023).
Petugas menyosialisasikan 7 focus road safety. Mereka juga mengingatkan dan mengajarkan kepada para Masyarakat umum, sopir terhadap pengenalan rambu–rambu lalu lintas beserta arti dan tujuannya.
Kasatlantas Iptu Prio Amboro S.T. mengatakan, kegiatan semacam ini memang sudah rutin dilaksanakan guna memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang keselamatan berkendara dan tertib berlalu lintas.
“Saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada para Masyarakat umum, sopir karena kegiatan berjalan lancar. Dan kami juga mengingatkan kembali, jadilah pelopor lalu lintas yang tertib dan taat hukum,” pesannya.
Menurutnya, guna menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah hukum Polres Seruyan, sejauh ini pihaknya telah beberapa kali menggelar teguran simpatik kepada pengendara yang melanggar lalu lintas.
Teguran Simpatik ini dilaksanakan di beberapa titik, terutama pada wilayah yang selama ini rawan kecelakaan lalu lintas itu.
Terkait itu, Prio mengimbau kepada pengguna jalan agar selau berhati-hati dalam mengemudikan kendaraannya untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas.(Redaksiswanara)
