Jakarta,- Satgas Pangan Polri melakukan pengecekan ke pasar untuk melalukan pencegahan agar harga telur di pasar.
Harga telur ayam belakangan ini meningkat di Jabodetabek, bahkan di wilayah Indonesia timur.
“Dalam rangka mencegah terus meningkatnya harga telur ayam ras ini, Satgas Pangan Polri berupaya untuk mencari solusi permasalahan ini,” kata Kasatgas Pangan Polri Brigjen Whisnu Hermawan kepada wartawan, Senin (22/5/2023).
“Turun langsung ke para distributor dan sentra pasar untuk mengecek stabilitas harga dalam rangka menjaga kestabilan bahan pakan ternak, terutama jagung dan bahan pakan yang berasal dari impor,” lanjutnya.
Whisnu mengatakan kenaikan harga telur diakibatkan harga pakan ayam yang tinggi, yakni mencapai Rp 8.500-8.700 per kilogram. Hal ini menyebabkan tidak seluruh peternak ayam petelur dapat membeli pakan ternak.
“Sedangkan faktor lain yaitu mahalnya biaya transportasi/angkutan, karena beberapa daerah belum bisa mencukupi kebutuhan telur ayam ras di daerahnya sehingga masih supply membutuhkan dari daerah lain,” katanya.
Satgas Pangan Polri juga berkoordinasi dengan Pemda dan instansi terkait untuk memastikan kelancaran distribusi transportasi/sarana angkut terhadap bahan pakan ternak ke peternak dan peternak ayam petelur ke konsumen.
Menurut Whisnu, seluruh satgas pangan daerah melakukan pengecekan ke pabrik/produsen pakan ternak khususnya ternak ayam untuk mengidentifikasi kendala dan ketersediaan bahan baku pakan serta menyelesaikan permasalahan.
Satgas pangan pusat dan satgas pangan daerah telah berkomunikasi dengan para peternak ayam petelur di daerah-daerah untuk mengetahui ketersediaan dan harga pakan ternak di tingkat peternak, serta penyebab lain yang pengaruhi produksi telur ayam ras.
“Satgas pangan pusat dan satgas pangan daerah telah berkoordinasi dengan pelaku usaha jasa angkutan, untuk memastikan jalur distribusi dan biaya-biaya operasional lain yang sekiranya dapat membantu menurunkan harga telur di tingkat konsumen,”katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
