Kendari – Satgas Pangan Polri melakukan inspeksi mendadak (Sidak) dua pasar tradisional di Kota Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra), Pasar Sentral Kota Kendari dan Pasar Mandonga. Rabu (13/12/23).
“Sidak ketersedian dan harga bahan pokok dilakukan dalam rangka menghadapi Natal dan Tahun Baru 2024 dimana kebutuhan masyarakat di dua momen itu meningkat,” ungkapnya.
Kombes. Pol. Hermawan mengatakan bahwa selain itu, sidak dilakukan karena mengingat situasi nasional Indonesia yang baru saja dilanda badai cuaca El Nino yang menyebabkan beberapa komoditi pangan pokok produksinya tidak maksimal atau menurun.
“Jadi di sini kita ingin memastikan pangan pokok yang dianggap rawan seperti beras, gula, daging, semua jenis cabai, telur, dan bahan pokok lainnya aman semua ketersediannya. Dan Alhamdulilah hasil sidak menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan pokok itu, di Kota Kendari aman,” jelasnya.
Kepala Sub Satgas Ketersedian Satgas Pangan Mabes Polri juga mengatakan, selain soal ketersedian, juga dilakukan pengecekan harga. Hasil sidak menunjukkan harga kebutuhan pokok di Kendari sama dengan harga rata-rata nasional.
“Meski secara rata-rata harga kebutuhan pokok di Kendari sama dengan harga nasional, Satgas menemukan harga minyak goreng curah yang naik secara signifikan. Dimana harga rata-rata nasional minyak goreng curah per liternya itu Rp 15.500, namun di Kendari dijual dengan harga rata-rata Rp 17 ribu sampai Rp 18 ribu. Kita akan evaluasi lagi, menerjunkan Satgas Pangan untuk mengecek broker-broker ini tidak boleh dia bermain. Kalau didapat, tindak tegas,” jelasnya.
Satgas Pangan Mabes Polri memastikan akan terus melakukan pengawasan ketersedian dan harga pangan di seluruh Indonesia. Agar kebutuhan pangan pokok masyarakat tersedia, dan harganya sesuai.(Redaksi Swanara)
