Mojokerto – Guna Mencegah Dan Mengendalikan Penyebaran Wabah PMK Petugas Sat Samapta Polresta Mojokerto rutin melaksanakan monitoring pengecekan Hewan ternak di beberapa Peternak Sapi di Mojokerto Raya Hal Tersebut Dilaksanakan Guna mengantisipasi penyebaran wabah Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK) di Mojokerto Raya, Rabu (22/03/23)
IPTU M.K Umam, S.E mengatakan pihak Kepolisian menjadikan wabah PMK ini sebagai atensi dan segera mengambil tindakan dengan melaksanakan monitoring pengecekan kesehatan hewan ternak dalam rangka pencegahan wabah PMK.
IPTU Umam mengatakan pengecekan kesehatan hewan ternak sapi sangat membantu para peternak sapi untuk mengurangi rasa khawatir akan terjangkit penyakit PMK yang menular pada sapi. “Maka kami bersama petugas hingga jajaran TNI Dan Instansi Terkait berkolaborasi bersama-sama melakukan pemantauan terhadap hewan ternak tersebut,” terangnya.
Hal ini dilakukan untuk meminimalisir penyebaran PMK pada hewan ternak sapi di Masyarakat, Imbuhnya.
Kasi Humas IPTU M.K Umam juga menghimbau, “diharap warga tidak perlu panik dan merasa takut untuk melapor ke petugas apabila hewan ternak mereka mengalami penurunan kesehatan dengan ciri – ciri keluar air liur berlebihan, lepuh pada gusi, luka pada kuku atau kuku terlepas, lepuh pada mukosa mulut, lepuh di lidah karena dari dinas Peternakan dan dinas pertanian siap membantu memberikan pertolongan dengan obat dan vitamin.” Ujarnya
Atas dasar inilah yang menjadikan adanya pengawasan dari pihak kepolisian dan tiga pilar antara lain dengan memberikan desinfektan dan vitamin C kepada hewan ternak, seperti pengecekan hewan ternak di wilayah terjangkit wabah PMK, hingga diberlakukan pembatasan keluar masuknya hewan ternak di Kabupaten maupun Kota Mojokerto, kata Umam.(Redaksiswanara)
