Prosesi Kirab pusaka di gelar dalam rangka peringatan Hari Jadi Kabupaten Banyumas kembali digelar setelah 2 tahun vakum akibat pandemi Covid 19.
Acara tersebut sudah menjadi ajang wisata budaya bagi masyarakat Banyumas dan sekitarnya. Empat pusaka berupa tombak Kiai Genjring, keris Kiai Gajah Endro, Keris Kiai Nalapraja, dan Keris Kiai Sempana Bener, dipertontonkan kepada masyarakat pada prosesi ini.
Ada yang menarik di sepanjang jalan yang dilalui kirab, karena dipasang Penjor Janur Kuning. Penjor ini adalah dari masing masing OPD dan di lombakan.
Acara kirab pusaka diikuti bupati dan wakil bupati, Anggota Forkompinda, pimpinan dan anggota DPRD. Selain itu turut dilibatkan pula kepala dinas/instansi, camat, kepala desa/kelurahan, dan warga masyarakat. Semua peserta kirab terlihat berpakaian adat Banyumasan.
Para pendukung kirab terdiri para pelajar dan mahasiswa di Purwokerto. Terdapat pula para seniman dan budayawan yang turut ambil bagian kemeriahan acara tersebut.
Kirab dimulai pukul 09.00 WIB dari halaman Pendopo Rumah Dinas Wakil Bupati. Setelah itu peserta kirab menyusuri jalan Jenderal Sudirman menuju ke Pendapa si Panji Purwokerto. Jarak tempuhnya kurang lebih sekira 2 km.
