Jakarta, – Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo langsung merespon curhatan seorang anggota Brimob yang telah 23 tahun menjadi anggota Polri namun hampir 13 tahun terakhir berpisah dengan istrinya karena tugas.
Kapolri meninjau persiapan pengamanan kegiatan Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) ASEAN di Labuan Bajo, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), beberapa waktu lalu. Saat tengah berbincang dengan anggota Brimob, tiba-tiba seorang anggota Brimob bercerita jika dirinya sudah hampir 13 tahun terakhir berpisah dengan sang istri yang berada di Jawa tengah.
“Ijin jenderal. Kami sudah tugas 23 tahun. Kami sudah berkeluarga. Tapi istri di Jawa, berpisah 13 tahun, jenderal,” kata Herry kepada Kapolri.
“Mohon kami ditolong agar bisa bersama-sama keluarga Polda Jawa Tengah, jenderal,” ujar Herry.
Mendengar permintaan anggotanya itu, Kapori langsung tersenyum lebar. Kapolri kemudian mencari Komandan Kompi (Danki) dan meminta pendapat mengenai permohonan anggotanya tersebut.
“Danki mana? Setuju enggak?,” kata Kapolri.
Sang Danki pun langsung menyahut setuju atas pertanyaan itu.
“Siap setuju.” Kata Danki.
Tak hanya kepada Danki Brimob, Kapolri juga meminta pendapat dari para anggota Brimob yang saat itu hadir.
Mereka pun kompak menjawab setuju. Dari pendapat-pendapat itu, kemudian Kapolri memerintahkan agar Bripka Herry dipindahkan secepatnya ke wilayah Jawa Tengah.
“Karena yang lain setuju, secepatnya kamu pindah,” ujarnya.
Tangis haru Bripka Herry pun pecah. Dia pun langsung memberi hormat kepada Kapolri yang sudah menugaskannya di wilayah yang dekat dengan keluarga.(Redaksiswanara)
