Kegiatan tes Psikologi ini ialah sebagai salah satu bentuk syarat setiap personel Polri untuk pemegang (Senpi) Dinas Organik dengan menguji ketenangan jiwa dalam menghadapi segala bentuk keadaan yang dapat merugikan diri sendiri dan orang lain.
Kegiatan tersebut dibuka langsung oleh Katim ROSDM Psikologi Polda NTT Kompol Dwi Chrismawan M.Si.,M.Psi. Bersama tim berdasarkan surat telegram Kapolda NTT Nomor : ST/205/III/HUK 6.6/2023.
“Tes Psikologi ini dalam rangka untuk mengetahui tingkat konsistensi dan kejiwaan personel pada tugas Kepolisian guna meminimalisir terjadinya pelanggaran dan penyalahgunaan senpi, sebagai syarat utama dan rekomendasi Pimpinan kepada personel yang akan mengajukan permohonan dalam penggunaan pinjam pakai ataupun senpi organik” ungkap Katim.
Tidak hanya itu Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kapolres SBD AKBP Sigit Harimbawan S.H, S.I.K, M.H, juga mengatakan bahwa dengan adanya tes psikologi ini kita dapat mengetahui kondisi psikis para personel kita, tak hanya itu, tentu ini juga harus menjadi perhatian khusus apabila ada personel yang kondisi psikisnya kurang bai ungkap Kapolres saat meninjau langsung pelaksanaan Psikotes.
Tes Psikologi ini tidak hanya Personel saja namun adapun para perwira dan Kapolsek jajaran yang ikut di karenakan layaknya seorang anggota Polri baik Tamtama, Bintara dan Perwira wajib mengikuti tes psikologi.
