Jakarta.- Presiden RI Ir. H Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menyebut Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga yang baru nantinya akan diisi dari kalangan anak muda. Sosok anak muda menjadi kriteria yang diinginkannya untuk mengisi jabatan Menpora pengganti Zainudi Amali yang telah mengundurkan diri.
“(Kriteria Menpora yang diinginkan) muda,” ujar Presiden Jokowi , (20/3/2023).
Hanya saja memang hingga kini belum jelas siapa calon Menpora.
“Menpora belum diputuskan (siapa), tapi nama-nama dari pak Ketua Golkar sudah masuk ke kita. Tapi belum diputuskan, belum saya putuskan,” ujarnya.
Seperti diketahui, jabatan Menpora kosong setelah Zainuddin Amali memutuskan untuk mengundurkan diri dari jabatannya. Ia memilih untuk berkonsentrasi mengurus persepakbolaan Indonesia bersama PSSI.
Pengunduran dirinya itu sudah disampaikan ke Presiden dan mendapat persetujuan. Kini, Plt Menpora untuk sementara dijabat oleh Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan Muhadjir Effendi.(Red)
