Sumedang – Sebagai bentuk upaya meminimalisir terjadinya bencana, Polsek Tanjungkerta Polres Sumedang bersama warga Desa Cipanas melaksanakan kegiatan gotong royong membersihkan Irigasi Sungai di Blok Kelenteng Desa Cipanas, Tanjungkerta, Sumedang. Minggu (29/01/2023).
Kapolres Sumedang AKBP Indra Setiawan melalui Kapolsek Tanjungkerta AKP Sukardi mengatakan kegiatan gotong royong ini dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk kepedulian warga terhadap lingkungan serta meminimalisir adanya potensi bencana.
“Polsek Tanjungkerta melalui Bhabinkamtibmas yang dibantu oleh warga Desa Cipanas melaksanakan gotong royong membersihkan atau pengerukan pasir yang mengakibatkan tambakan air sungai mengalami pendangkalan.” Ujar Sukardi.
“Selain itu, kita juga melakukan pembersihan terhadap sampah sampah yang dapat mengakibatkan aliran air sungai terganggu.” Tambahnya.
“Tambakan air sungai ini sendiri mengalir ke saluran irigasi yang mana dimanfaatkan oleh warga untuk pertanian maupun perikanan.” Pungkasnya.
Sukardi sendiri menghimbau kepada warga agar senantiasa peduli terhadap lingkungan dengan tidak mencemari aliran sungai, dan mengingatkan agar tetap waspada dengan cuaca ekstrim akhir-akhir ini guna meminimalisir potensi terjadinya bencana.(Redaksiswanara)
