Terciptanya situasi arus lalu lintas yang lancar dan aman, Polsek Sewon melaksanakan kegiatan rutin pos pagi sebagai salah satu wujud pelayanan kepada masyarakat dengan menempatkan petugas di sejumlah titik yang dianggap rawan terjadinya laka lantas, di wilayah Kapanewon Sewon, Bantul.
Personel Polsek Sewon melaksanakan kegiatan rutin pos pagi dengan pengaturan lalu lintas dan membantu menyeberangkan jalan.
Kapolsek Sewon AKP Hanung Tri Widayanto S.H., M.Si., mengatakan bahwa dalam kegiatan pos pagi personel Polsek Sewon diploting di penggal-penggal jalan yang ramai dan depan sekolahan guna membantu penyeberangan anak sekolah.
“Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan kamseltibcar lantas dan mengantisipasi terjadinya laka lantas,” ujar Kapolsek.
”Kami juga menghimbau kepada masyarakat pengguna jalan agar tetap berhati-hati, patuhi rambu-rambu lalu lintas serta melengkapi diri dengan kelengkapan yang sebagaimana sudah diatur dalam peraturan berlalu lintas di jalan raya,” pungkasnya.
