Bekasi – Kapolsek Serang Baru AKP Somantri menghadiri kegiatan pembinaan masyarakat tanggap bencana kodim 0509 Kabupaten Bekasi Tahun Anggaran 2022, di Halaman Kantor Desa Sukasari, Kecamatan Serang Baru, Bekasi, Minggu (31/7/2022) pagi.
“Hari ini diadakan pelatihan tanggap bencana yang diadakan oleh tim BPPD (Badan Pelayanan Pendapatan Daerah) Kabupaten Bekasi,” kata Somantri.
Ia menjelaskan, latihan kesiapsiagaan bencana diartikan sebagai bentuk latihan koordinasi, komunikasi dan evakuasi dengan melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan (pemerintah dan masyarakat umum).
“Dimulai dengan membangun koordinasi yang hebat,” ujarnya.
Somantri menerangkan, peserta pelatihan yang terlibat mensimulasikan situasi bencana sesungguhnya menggunakan skenario bencana yang dibuat mendekati atau sesuai kondisi nyata.
“Pelatihan berupa simulasi bencana,” terangnya.
Ia berharap, setelah melaksanakan pelatihan tanggap bencana agar masyarakat bisa bekerjasama dalam hal merespon jika adanya tanda tanda bencana dan segera melaporkan kepada pemangku kepentingan.
“Semoga pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan respon masyarakat jika terjadi bencana, “pungkasnya.
