Ia memberi contoh pelaku kejahatan memanfaatkan kepanikan pengguna ATM saat kartunya bermasalah. Permasalahannya yang sering terjadi adalah kartu tertelan di mesin ATM, lalu pelaku menawarkan bantuan, kemudian saldo korban dikuras.
“Dimohon kepada masyarakat pengguna kartu ATM jika terjadi kendala seperti kartu tertelan cepat lapor ke Satpam atau petugas Bank jangan minta tolong sembarangan orang. Kejahatan yang lain berupa penukaran kartu Atm palsu. mengganjal Atm, ingat nomer pin jangan sampai diketahui orang lain guna antisipasi tindak kejahatan,” imbaunya.
