Lombok barat, NTB – Polsek Gerung memberikan pelayanan dan pengamanan dalam kegiatan tradisi adat Nyongkolan di Desa Gumese Utara, Kecamatan Gerung, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Kamis (1/6/2023).
Kapolsek Gerung AKP Agus Pujianto, S.Pd., MH mengatakan pengamanan meliputi mengawal iring-iringan Nyongkolan. Mulai dari Dusun Kesume, Desa Banyu’urip, hingga mencapai tujuan di Dusun Gumese Utara, Desa Giritembesi.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari tradisi adat yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat setempat,” ungkapnya.
Dalam pengamanan tersebut, anggota jaga Polsek Gerung, Bhabinkamtibmas, dan Babinsa bekerja sama. Untuk memastikan kelancaran arus lalu lintas, serta mencegah terjadinya kemacetan.
Mereka menggunakan Kecimol, alat musik tradisional, sebagai pengiring dalam perjalanan Nyongkolan.
“Selain memberikan perlindungan dan pengamanan, kami juga menyampaikan himbauan dan pesan-pesan kamtibmas kepada masyarakat yang terlibat dalam kegiatan Nyongkolan. Mengingatkan pentingnya menjaga ketertiban, keamanan, dan kelancaran acara agar berjalan dengan baik dan aman,” terangnya.
Dengan adanya kehadiran sinergitas TNI-Polri dalam kegiatan Nyongkolan ini, harapannya masyarakat dapat merasa aman dan nyaman.
“Polsek Gerung berkomitmen untuk terus memberikan pelayanan terbaik dalam menjaga kamtibmas serta memberikan rasa aman kepada seluruh masyarakat,” tandasnya.
Dalam hasil pelaksanaannya, tidak menemukan kendala yang berarti. Polsek Gerung mengucapkan terima kasih kepada masyarakat yang telah menjaga kerukunan dan ketertiban selama kegiatan Nyongkolan berlangsung.
“Semoga tradisi adat ini tetap dapat melestarikannya dan menjadi bagian yang memperkaya budaya, namun tetap memperhatikan keamanan dan ketertibannya,” imbuhnya.(Redaksi Swanara)
