Swanara – Polsek Cengkareng menangkap dua oknum debt collector (mata elang) berinisial DM dan RS yang cukup meresahkan para pengguna motor di kawasan Rawa Buaya, Kecamatan Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat.
Kapolsek Cengkareng, Kompol Ardhie Demastyo mengatakan terdapat tiga orang pelaku yang melancarkan aksi perampasan sepeda motor ini. Namun, satu pelaku lainnya berhasil melarikan diri usai mengetahui kedatangan polisi.
“Kami masih dalami satu pelaku lainnya, saat ini masih dalam kejaran anggota di lapangan,” kata Ardhie dalam keterangannya, Rabu (1/6/2022).
Dikatakan Ardhie, modus para pelaku dalam aksi kejahatan ini dengan menuduh korban atas penunggakan pembayaran angsuran sepeda motor yang digunakannya.
“Jadi, modusnya mereka ini menuduh korban menunggak angsuran sepeda motor,” bebernya.
Dugaan sementara, motor hasil rampasan tersebut tidak langsung dijual para pelaku ke leasing. Melainkan hanya dijual belikan ke orang lain dengan harga yang lebih murah. Namun, dugaan ini kata Ardhie masih harus didalami lebih jauh.
Lebih lanjut, Ardhie mengimbau kepada para pengendara sepeda motor khususnya yang berada di wilayah Cengkareng untuk segera melaporkan ke polisi jika tiba-tiba dicegat oleh mata elang.
Ardhie mamastikan pihaknya akan melakukan proses hukum terhadap para oknum debt collector yang merampas kendaraan roda dua milik masyarakat secara paksa.
“Jadi jangan takut untuk melapor karena kami akan melindungi masyarakat,” tukas Ardhie.(Red)
