Bantul – Personel Polsek Banguntapan, diterjukan untuk mengamankan penutupan Jogja Fashion Week (JFW) 2023, Minggu (12/11/2023).
Kapolsek Banguntapan Kompol Irwiantoro mengatakan, acara yang dihelat di Jogja Expo Center (JEC) Bantul, Yogyakarta ini berlangsung sangat meriah.
“Untuk mengamankan kegiatan tersebut, kami melaksanakan pengamanan baik terbuka maupun tertutup,” jelasnya.
Dikatakan, ratusan desainer dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia dan pecinta fashion meramaikan event bertema Becoming Word Fashion Capital.
“Gelaran JFW 2023 tersebut diikuti 133 desainer yang didominasi kalangan milenial. Juga ada sebanyak 187 Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) berkelas dunia. JFW 2023 berlangsung dari Kamis (9/11/2023) hingga Minggu,” terangnya.
Sementara itu, Gubernur DIY, Sri Sultan HB X mengatakan, tujuan JFW adalah untuk menggeliatkan sektor industri kecil menengah fashion, memperkuat image dan brand awareness Yogyakarta sebagai pusat fashion nasional dan dunia.
Selain itu, event ini untuk mempromosikan Yogyakarta sebagai salah satu destinasi pariwisata fashion, mendorong berkembangnya industri kreatif fashion, meningkatkan nilai tambah dan kesejahteraan pelaku fashion serta perekonomian di DIY.
Sehingga, dengan adanya gelaran seperti ini dapat mampu meningkatkan perekonomian dengan signifikan. Menurutnya, fashion kali ini akan menjadi kekuatan baru untuk pertumbuhan ekonomi.
