Jakarta – Kepolisian menyatakan akan ada satu pelabuhan yang disiagakan apabila terjadi penumpukan kendaraan pemudik yang akan menyebrang ke wilayah Pulau Sumatera. Hal itu diputuskan setelah dilakukan koordinasi lintas sektoral kesiapan mudik Lebaran 2023.
“Apabila ternyata penumpukan arus ke Bakauheni masih padat, ada cadangan yang sudah disiapkan yakni Pantai Indah Kiat di Banten,” ujar Kadivhumas Polri Irjen. Pol. Sandi Nugroho usai melaksanakan apel gelar pasukan, Rabu (12/4/23).
Kadivhumas Polri menerangkan, sejauh ini sudah diberlakukan dua dermaga, yakni Bakauheni untuk kendaraan roda dua dan bus. Kemudian, Ciwandan untuk motor dan truk.
Ia kembali mengingatkan, masyarakat sudah dapat membeli tiket penyebrangan secara online maupun di rest area menuju Bakauheni. Sehingga, tidak akan ada penumpukan antrean kendaraan yang hendak membeli tiket.
“Jadi bisa langsung naik ke kapal dan jalan. Jadi tidak ada lagi kepadatan dan bisa diurai,” jelas Kadivhumas.(Red)
