Terkait pemberitaan dibeberapa media, Kapolres Sinjai Akbp Fery Nur Abdulah, S.Ik mengatakan bahwa benar Polsek Tellulimpoe telah menerima Laporan yang dituangkan dalam Laporan Polisi Nomor : LP/ B/21/VIII/ 2023/ Sek Tellulimpoe / Res Sinjai / Polda Sulsel, tanggal 15 Agustus 2023 atas nama pelapor berinisial perm.

Setelah Polsek Tellulimpoe menerima Laporan, dihari yang sama Kanit Reskrim Polsek Tellu Limpoe Aiptu Toep Efendi lakukan pemeriksaan terhadap Sdri AN, dan melakukan serangkaian penyelidikan, mendatangi TKP serta olah TKP. Ujar Kapolres Sinjai.
“Sampai saat ini sudah ada 7 (tujuh) orang yang diambil keterangannya. Mulai dari pelapor, saksi-saksi yang mengetahui, mendengar, mengalami peristiwa yang dilaporkan, Ujar Kapolres Sinjai, Jum’at (25/8/2023).
“Kami juga telah mengirimkan SP2HP kepada pelapor Perm. AN dengan Nomor : B / 49/ VIII/2023/ Reskrim, taggal 16 Agustus 2023 dan SP2HP Nomor B / 52 / VIII/2023/ Reskrim, taggal 23 Agustus 2023, terkait perkembangan penyelidikan. Ujarnya.
Dan pada hari ini Jum’at (25/8/23) kami telah melakukan gelar perkara guna menentukan langkah yang akan diambil untuk penanganan kasus tersebut, dan ada beberapa kendala yang dialami penyidik dalam hal pemeriksaan lel. RS yang saat ini keberadaannya berada diluar kota daerah Kalimantan.
Kapolres Sinjai menjelaskan rencana penyelidikan kedepan, akan melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap orang yang mengetahui, mengalami, dan mendengar peristiwa tersebut, melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap surat terkait peristiwa tersebut, dan nantinya setelah tindakan kami lakukan maka kami akan mengirimkan kembali SP2HP kepada pelapor. Jelasnya.
